A high-flying woman, Mrs. Helen Onoja, is fixated on making sure her only son, Felix, not only marries from a class as high as hers, but specifically a governor’s daughter. She goes all out to arrange for him to date the spoilt daughter of her childhood friend, whose father happens to be the incumbent governor of Kogi State — ignoring the fact that Felix is in love with another woman, Abike. Meanwhile, Felix’s relationship with Abike suffers because he is unable to stand up to his domineering mother.
